This is the erotic return.
I Refuse to Let the Old Sex Go Because Love Will Go With It
I refuse to let the old sex go, because love will go with it.
There was a time when sex still carried meaning. When it was not a casual exchange of bodies but a covenant between two souls to become one in the dark. When it held life inside it = literally and spiritually. When it was slow enough to remember, deep enough to transform, sacred enough to leave marks on the spirit long after the sweat had dried. Sex used to mean something. Life used to mean something. Living used to mean something. We built stories that lasted lifetimes, loves that felt like a forever home and intimacies that echoed through generations. We once looked up to love and now we look down on it.
Love is another fairytale we grew out of.
Sex has gone with it.
What happened between two bodies had weight, consequence, and power.
We have lost the meaning behind everything, especially sex.
It is the original bonding ritual. The place where life itself is created, remembered, and renewed. When we treat sex as nothing more than a bodily function or a dopamine hit, we are not just cheapening pleasure = we are severing one of the most powerful threads that holds love, trust and human connection together. Did you read that? Did it hit? It should terrify you. Look around. The symptoms are everywhere: rising loneliness, collapsing relationships, a generation that can access any fantasy yet can not ask a girl for her number, Snapchat is still easier than planning a date. We have neglected the responsibility of sex, and love is quietly bleeding out.
The healthiest sexuality I have ever witnessed possesses the same qualities as healthy wilderness. It is present. Unforced. Patient. Attentive. Alive. It listens - the way a good horseman listens to the horse beneath him, the way a hunter listens to the wind, the way someone listens when they know they are not separate from the landscape, but part of it. This is the erotic in her natural state. And if we want better sex lives, we must first create better lives. Life inspires sex, and the sex then powers the life. When your days are filled with aliveness, with wildness, with beauty, with meaning, with presence = your eros has something real to draw from. We must always be inspired, always dreaming - we were built to CREATE.
Sex becomes an extension of a life that already feels worth fucking for.
Nothing survives neglect. And perhaps that is what I am trying to preserve through my work. Not just better sex. Not just better relationships.
But a deeper relationship with life itself.
My work has always been born from a refusal to let the old wisdom die.
Because the land is still speaking. I only know the wisdom I know from listening. The rivers are still moving. The trees will offer you everything you need to know if you sit still enough. The stars are still telling stories above our heads. God left us clues everywhere - you just forgot how to listen. And somewhere beneath our muted selves, there remains a wild and untamed part of the human spirit that refuses to be domesticated.
This is the erotic return.
This is what I refuse to let die.
The old sex.
The old love.
The old way of being deeply, wildly, sacredly human.
